GreenEarth® Cleaning is environmentally friendly and wonderfully gentle on formalwear. It opens a whole new workd of dry cleaning possibilities. You'll really notice the difference! The GreenEarth® cleaning solvent is an odorless, clear liquid, composed of modified liquid silicone, similar to the base ingredients used in many popular cosmetics, deodorants, and shaving cream. This makes it non-toxic, and non-irritating to the skin. The US Environmental Protection Agency has listed it under its Significant New Alternative Policy (SNAP) as a preferred alternative to ozone-depleting chemicals. Standard dry cleaning uses a chemical called perchloroethylene ("perc", for short). Perc produces enormous amounts of toxic waste, and is classified as a probable human carcinogen and Toxic Air Contaminant by the EPA.
